1. Divide your one small apartment into zones
Define two independent zones: a public area and a private space.

Light and even-toned walls helps make a small room appear bigger. Don’t cover the windows to allow maximum sunlight inside the apartment. Paint the walls white to give the rooms an airy atmosphere. Calm colors typically reflect the natural light coming in from the windows, fooling the eye into believing that the room is larger than it is. You can select openwork furniture with thin legs that don’t block the light. Making the most out of your small apartment is all about using space efficiently and playing with illusion. You do not need to spend a fortune – the ultimate thing you need to consider before jumping into redesigning your interior would be probably your budget.
