The 2014 Peugeot Exalt concept car made its return to the spotlight at the 2014 Paris Motor Show in France after officially being unveiled earlier in the year at the Beijing Auto Show in China.
The aggressive and imposing body of the Exalt measures in at 185.04 inches (4700 mm) in length and 51.58 inches (1310 mm) in height. The luxury sedan showcased in Paris features a unique silk-like paint finish with rear panels taking on a strayed grey “shark-skin” paint effect that is different in color and texture from the bare steel of the main body. The interior of the large saloon is upholstered with pinstripe fabric and accented with a light shade of eco-friendly “Newspaper Wood” trim made from compressed recycled newspapers.
Under the hood is where things get interesting and exciting with the Hybrid4 engine. This is where the power of Peugeot meets the prestige of the Exalt with an innovative hybrid powertrain system developed by PSA Peugeot Citroën. It can notch up to 270hp at the front wheels through a six-speed automatic with its 1.6-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine that overall boasts a total system output of 340hp at a full gallop with the electric motor powering the rear axle. Peugeot designed the Exalt to exude power with prestige.
