The Angie Armchair Collection designed by GamFratsi for Minotti is characterized by a saddle leather element with a characteristic rounded wing shape around the armchair. the defined shape is opposed to the softness of the front and seat of the chair while the back remains sculptural and rigid.
The upper part of the backrest that acts as a headrest is also visible in the back part, allowing the softness of the front part to be discovered. The presence of saddle hide is not only a distinctive feature of the GamFratesi studio’s involvement in the creative team of Minotti, but also breathes new vibrancy into a piece with classic forms, offering a palette of different shades.
Designed as a sculptural gesture shaping functionality, the collection consists of a lounge chair and a dining armchair both with the same characteristics, working accurately on the general proportions. The legs are made of die-cast aluminum and a particular bridge structure on the back underline the curvature of the lower part of the leather back.
