Villa Orizzonte
The charming Villa Orizzonte is located in the unspoiled nature of the typical arid Sicilian countryside in the Val di Noto which in 2002 was included among the Italian sites of the UNESCO World Heritage List for its splendid late Baroque cities. From an aesthetic point of view, Villa Orizzonte could vaguely recall the famous dammuso, or rather the traditional architectural structures in stone of Arabian origin and typical of the island of Pantelleria. Obviously, the style that covers the entire building is more contemporary and sophisticated, but it resorts to details of Sicilian authenticity such as the dry-stone walls and the numerous olive trees in the outdoor area.
It is a two-storey building, where both floors are decorated with a unique and minimal style and expertly designed with materials that blend in with the surrounding areas, along with three cores linked by stairs and courtyards. The interior is composed of a very bright living area thanks to the presence of a large sliding glass door that allows you to enjoy the view of both the swimming pool and the vast countryside. The kitchen, equipped with all of the necessary appliances, and a modern dining room are one unit. The environment is particularly welcoming as the fireplace in the living area is located near comfortable sofas and chairs. The first sleeping quarter is reached via a corridor and steps and consists of two master bedrooms with en-suite bathroom and washing machine. Another staircase leads to two other bedrooms with bathrooms and panoramic views. Direct access to the private courtyard is possible from all four rooms.
